2) fourth walling. Bro is familiar with an assortment of canons. Popular anime, videogames, puppet series... If you don't want him to recognize your character, just let me know! It's not like he's about to blow people's minds by spilling the beans on how they're fictional in his world, but even knowing about a character can be unwanted sometimes, so... Yup.
